Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Tygart Center
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to create individualized treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining detailed documentation
- Educate patients and families on health management and recovery strategies
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse license in West Virginia or compact state
- Current BLS certification
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in long-term care and geriatric nursing practices
- Proficient with electronic health records and medication administration
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment
