Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts, with one weeknight call per week until 7:00 AM the next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Roles & Responsibilities

• Independently scrub cranial procedures and provide expert support during neuro-trauma cases
• Assist with orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures using advanced surgical technology
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for each case
• Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to maintain the highest standards of patient safety
• Handle a fast-paced caseload averaging 18 procedures daily across multiple specialties
• Respond promptly to call requirements within a 15-minute response time

Qualifications

• Current CST certification preferred, BLS required
• Proven experience scrubbing cranial procedures independently
• Strong background in orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures
• General OR experience with the ability to handle neuro-trauma call
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert scrubbing skills for cranial and neuro procedures
• Proficiency with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
• Strong understanding of orthopedic trauma and total joint protocols
• Ability to work effectively in an 11-room OR suite with high case volume
• EPIC EMR documentation experience
