Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation each shift to ensure patient safety
Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including post-surgical, stroke, and cardiac patients
Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team for seamless care delivery
Float to East Campus or PCU when needed, expanding your clinical skills and experience
Support patients with respiratory needs using BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Background with general, orthopedic, and spinal surgical patients preferred
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and basic strip reading
Care for COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, TIA, and CVA patients
Comfort with remote monitoring systems and interdisciplinary collaboration
Ability to float between campuses and PCU when qualified
