End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with weeknight call Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM every 2-3 days and weekend call Friday 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM Monday rotating every other weekend or full weekend coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient care across a wide variety of surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team during general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotic cases
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while ensuring patient safety throughout procedures
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to support team needs
Respond to call coverage within 30 minutes to provide critical surgical support
Document procedures accurately using the Surgical Information Systems EMR

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2-3 years of operating room experience
BLS certification required
Previous travel nursing experience essential
Hands-on experience with DaVinci Xi robotics system
Comfortable with a broad range of cases including general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and GI procedures
Trauma experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols
Familiarity with DaVinci Xi robotic systems
Ability to adapt quickly to new EMR systems like SIS
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to float between nearby campuses
Reliable response time for call coverage
