Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable start times between 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM, primarily covering 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements 1 night every 6 weeks including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care for surgical patients
Monitor and respond to cardiac rhythms while caring for ICU patients in recovery
Collaborate with surgical teams across ortho, trauma, cardiac, urology, pulmonary, and GI specialties
Support patients through critical post-anesthesia transitions with skilled nursing care
Float to surgery center as needed while maintaining high standards of patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
ED or ICU experience strongly preferred
Epic EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

PACU nursing expertise with strong assessment skills
Cardiac monitoring and strip interpretation
Comfort working with vents, CPAP, and BiPAP equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
