Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on orthopedic therapy to patients recovering from shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
Evaluate and treat a diverse caseload including orthopedic, CVA, MS, and head injury patients
Provide care across acute inpatient, rehab, transitional, and outpatient settings with a primary focus on outpatient orthopedics
Document patient progress using ReDoc for outpatient and Meditech for acute care
Collaborate with rehab aides and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current Oregon Occupational Therapist license required
BLS certification required
Outpatient orthopedic experience with upper extremity focus preferred
Lymphedema training is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong orthopedic assessment and treatment skills
Experience with shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
Ability to treat a variety of diagnoses including CVA, MS, and head injuries
Familiarity with ReDoc and Meditech documentation systems
Comfort working independently in multiple care settings
