Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Level 4 trauma center
• Triage patients with varying acuity levels and manage ED holds
• Administer conscious sedation and manage AMI patients with critical thinking
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including ED techs, paramedics, and providers
• Monitor telemetry, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to emergencies

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona (or compact license accepted)
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC and ENPC preferred)
• Experience with conscious sedation and AMI management
• Comfortable with Cerner charting system

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
• Ability to triage and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of emergency procedures, including intubation assistance and ventilator troubleshooting
• Skill in starting IVs, phlebotomy, and wound care (as needed)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
