Roles & Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Provide professional dental cleanings and preventive care
• Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental assistant to ensure a smooth, efficient appointment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming operatory
• Document patient care accurately and confidentially

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in New Jersey (NJ)
• Current CPR certification
• Compassionate and clear communicator who puts patients at ease
• Comfortable working alongside a dental assistant in a busy practice
• Able to manage 30-minute appointment slots efficiently

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
• Excellent time management to keep the schedule on track
• Ability to focus on patient care while delegating tasks to an assistant
