Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care by performing dental cleanings, exams, and preventive treatments
• Take and develop dental x-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care to promote long-term health
• Collaborate with dentists to develop personalized care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a clean, safe environment
• Assist with local anesthesia administration and periodontal therapy

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills in dental hygiene procedures
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience preferred but new graduates welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene practices, instruments, and radiography
• Skill in patient education and communication
• Proficiency with dental software
• Understanding of infection control protocols
