Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy interventions in accordance with the PT plan of care
• Document patient progress, response to treatment, and functional outcomes
• Assist patients in restoring mobility, improving function, and achieving treatment goals
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques
• Communicate patient status and needs to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Uphold safety, infection control, and compliance standards during every interaction

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state Physical Therapist Assistant license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Physical therapy interventions and rehabilitation techniques
• Patient care, education, and home exercise instruction
• Accurate documentation and progress tracking
• Clear communication with patients, families, and therapy teams
• Infection control and safety standards
