Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide thorough dental cleanings and prophylaxis to patients of all ages
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Document patient dental histories and chart conditions accurately
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure a smooth workflow

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills in dental cleanings and radiography
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work a flexible per diem schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency in dental software and patient record management
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and team members
