Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours weekly with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver critical care to MICU patients, making a real difference in high-stakes situations
Manage ventilators, dialysis, central lines, and advanced ICU procedures with confidence
Perform bedside interventions like thoracentesis, cardioversions, and intubations
Collaborate with a skilled team on acuity-based assignments
Document precisely using Meditech while adapting to floating as needed
Provide compassionate care using cutting-edge equipment like Arctic Sun and GE monitors

Qualifications

Active RN Texas license (no temp licenses accepted)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
2+ years of MICU or MSICU experience to hit the ground running
CCRN certification preferred for top consideration

Education

RN licensure with relevant ICU nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage dialysis, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
Meditech documentation experience
Expertise in central line placements, dialysis caths, cardioversions, intubations, and all ICU procedures
