Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and intervene promptly for changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy with precision
Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Document assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa (or compact license accepted)
Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum 1 year of recent med/surg or telemetry experience
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in medical-surgical nursing and telemetry monitoring
Proficiency in IV therapy, wound care, and patient education
Excellent assessment and clinical decision-making abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Adaptability to handle diverse patient populations and acuity levels
