Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Every other weekend and holiday rotation, shift times to be discussed upon offer

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy and other oncology treatments as prescribed
Monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage symptoms effectively
Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
Educate patients and families about treatment plans and side effect management
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Iowa
Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
Previous oncology nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and hazardous drug handling
Proficient in patient assessment and symptom management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
