Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional post-op care to surgical patients making a real difference in their recovery
Master wound care including packing, dressing changes, and wound vac maintenance
Manage Foley catheters, ostomies, NG tubes, TPN, blood administration, and central lines with confidence
Collaborate seamlessly with your team during bedside shift reports
Respond attentively to patient needs in a dynamic 1:5 ratio environment

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS certification required
At least 2 years of Med Surg experience
Background in post-op surgical areas like vascular, bariatric, urology, general surgery, or colorectal preferred

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Time management and efficiency for fast-paced units with short LOS
Strong teamwork to thrive in a collaborative 36-bed surgical tower
Outgoing and customer service-oriented personality
Proficiency with Meditech EMR, bariatric equipment, wound vacs, drains, and lifts
