Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to acute care patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs, communicating changes to the nursing team
• Support patients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety at all times
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, following infection control protocols
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver the best care

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Virginia
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to work per diem, flexible shifts
• Compassionate and reliable with strong communication skills
• Acute care experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Must be able to lift/transfer patients and stand for extended periods

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and hygiene practices
• Familiarity with vital signs and patient monitoring
• Understanding of infection control and safety regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Time management and adaptability
