Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to pediatric patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient respiratory status
• Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies
• Manage and troubleshoot ventilators and airway equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Respiratory Therapist license
• CRT or RRT credential from the NBRC
• BLS certification required; PALS preferred
• Pediatric or acute care respiratory experience strongly preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory care modalities, ventilator management, and patient assessment
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using electronic health records and respiratory equipment
• Excellent interpersonal and patient-family communication skills
