Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and polish teeth to keep patients smiling bright
• Assess patients' oral health and report findings to the dentist
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and treatment rooms
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist the dentist during procedures

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Previous experience in a dental office is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly chairside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and X-ray equipment
• Understanding of oral health and disease prevention
• Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols
• Excellent communication skills with patients and team members
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
