Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver thorough dental cleanings and preventive care to every patient
• Provide personalized oral hygiene education and home-care tips
• Welcome patients with a warm, professional demeanor and put them at ease
• Collaborate with the dentist to support exams and treatments as needed
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charting
• Uphold strict infection control and sterilization protocols

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist license
• Current CPR certification
• Experience providing dental hygiene care in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
• Ability to work efficiently with 30-minute appointment slots
• Comfortable working alongside a dental assistant

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of dental cleaning techniques and instruments
• Understanding of oral health, preventive care, and patient education
• Proficiency with dental practice management software and charting systems
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced office
