Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and assist with daily living activities
• Monitor vital signs and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Support patients with meals, hygiene, grooming, and other personal care needs
• Document care provided accurately and maintain confidential patient records
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create a positive and healing environment

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• BLS/CPR certification (hands-on) preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts and adapt to changing schedules
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of basic patient care principles and safety protocols
• Skilled in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control practices and standards
• Ability to follow care plans, instructions, and facility policies
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Strong time management and adaptability in fast-paced environments
