Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during exams and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe clinical environment
• Take dental X-rays, impressions, and records for treatment planning
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient charts and treatment notes
• Support a smooth patient flow throughout the clinic

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified (required)
• Dental assisting experience required
• Orthodontic assisting experience strongly preferred
• Experience with Denticon practice management software is a plus
• Strong patient communication and chairside manner
• Ability to work flexible shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Skill in taking dental impressions and radiographs
• Understanding of orthodontic appliances and procedures
• Proficiency with dental software and patient records
• Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
