Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to pediatric intensive care patients
• Continuously monitor and assess patients' conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications, treatments, and life-saving interventions with precision
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and adjust care plans
• Offer support and education to families during stressful times
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Ohio (or compact license)
• Current BLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Prior experience in pediatric intensive care or critical care nursing is a plus
• Ability to think quickly and stay calm in high-pressure situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in using electronic health records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of pediatric medication dosing and safety protocols
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
