Shift Type: Per Diem, 8.5-hour day shifts, flexible scheduling (Monday-Friday)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for pediatric patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and family goals
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated, holistic care
  • Provide education and training to families and caregivers to support carryover at home
  • Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with facility policies
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and contribute to discharge planning

Qualifications

  • Current Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Pediatric clinical experience highly desirable
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills for pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Knowledge of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal and family-centered communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management abilities
