Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with a dynamic team to ensure optimal outcomes
Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in an acute care setting
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in emergency and trauma nursing
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Experienced in using electronic health records
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Adaptable and quick-thinking in high-pressure situations
