Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the Physical Therapy Department with passion and expertise
Supervise and train a dedicated team of hourly and contract staff
Deliver direct physical therapy care using innovative techniques like heat, cold, manual therapy, ultrasound, and gait training
Develop customized therapy programs in collaboration with physicians
Monitor patient progress, modify treatments as needed, and consult on long-term care plans
Manage department budget, order supplies, and prepare insightful reports
Foster quality improvement and mentor physical therapy students

Qualifications

Current Washington State Physical Therapy License
BLS certification
Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited School of Physical Therapy
Five years of practical physical therapy experience
Three years management experience in a Rehab Therapy department

Education

Graduation from a School of Physical Therapy accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership in supervising staff and running a therapy department
Expertise in physical therapy modalities including electrical stimulation, hydrotherapy, and balance training
Excellent communication for patient education, reports, and team collaboration
Mathematical and reasoning skills for budgeting, stats, and problem-solving
Ability to interpret regulations and deliver professional presentations
