Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform focused and ongoing patient assessments for telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond quickly to rhythm changes
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
Document patient status, interventions, and responses clearly
Educate patients and families about condition, care, and follow-up
Escalate concerns and changes in condition to providers in a timely way

Qualifications

Current RN license in California (required)
Telemetry nursing experience preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Current CPR certification and up-to-date immunizations
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to pass facility background checks and credentialing

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac rhythm recognition and telemetry monitoring
Strong assessment skills for acute and chronic cardiac conditions
Familiarity with medication administration and IV therapy
Competent documentation and electronic charting habits
Excellent patient education and bedside manner
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
