Location: Charlottesville, Virginia

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: CNA - Acute Care, 12.5-hour shifts, per diem as needed (specific time range not specified)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to acute care patients
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, communicating changes to the nursing team
- Support patients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety at all times
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver the best care
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Virginia
- Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Ability to work per diem, flexible shifts
- Compassionate and reliable with strong communication skills
- Acute care experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Must be able to lift/transfer patients and stand for extended periods
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and hygiene practices
- Familiarity with vital signs and patient monitoring
- Understanding of infection control and safety regulations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Time management and adaptability
