Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care to neurology, stroke and neuro surgery patients
• Monitor cardiac drips and telemetry rhythms with confidence and precision
• Support EMU patients and complex neuro cases throughout their stay
• Float across units as needed to keep care running smoothly
• Document accurately in EPIC and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition in a busy Level 1 Trauma setting

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas
• At least 2 years of RN experience, with 3+ years preferred for success here
• Current ACLS, BLS and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC charting experience required
• Previous travel experience is a big plus
• Level 1 Trauma or busy hospital experience preferred
• Comfort with floating and flexible scheduling, including every other weekend
• Experience with cardiac drips is a must

• Neurology, stroke care and neuro surgery expertise

• Strong communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
• Adaptability to float between units
• Clinical judgment in a large Level 1 Trauma environment
