Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver rapid, compassionate care to patients arriving in the emergency department
• Triage incoming patients and prioritize care based on urgency and acuity
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and assist with emergency procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, and fellow nurses to keep care moving
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and next steps before discharge
• Stay calm and steady when the pace picks up and every second counts

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Current BLS certification, ACLS strongly preferred
• At least 1 year of emergency department or acute care nursing experience
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to work a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM as needed
• A team-first attitude and a genuine passion for patient care
