Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population across multiple MS-Tele units
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, titrate heparin as ordered, and respond quickly to changes in patient status
• Float fluidly across multiple facilities within Zone 3 (Denver area), bringing expertise and adaptability to each unit
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with cardiac, neuro, oncology, and post-surgical conditions
• Document accurately and efficiently in EPIC, ensuring continuity of care
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations to support 24/7 patient care

Qualifications

• Active RN license (compact eligible) with at least 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA)
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Comfortable floating to various units and facilities within the Denver Zone 3 area
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills with the ability to adapt quickly to new environments

• Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Heparin titration and IV therapy
• Patient education and family support
• Interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
• EMR proficiency with EPIC
• Flexibility to work in varied acute care settings including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and post-surgical units
