Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy
• Take and analyze dental X-rays to assist in diagnosis
• Document patient oral health conditions and treatments
• Provide personalized oral hygiene instructions and preventive care education
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms with proper sterilization
• Partner with the dentist to deliver exceptional patient care
• Ensure a warm and welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient comfort
• Excellent communication and patient-education abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team
• Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instrumentation
• Familiarity with digital radiography and dental charting software
• Understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols
• Strong patient care and chairside manner
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail in documentation and patient records
