Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized physical therapy evaluations and treatments to help patients regain mobility and independence
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to create and adjust individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and home care strategies
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards
- Advocate for patient goals and celebrate every milestone along the recovery journey
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Clinical experience in acute care, rehab, or outpatient settings preferred
- Compassionate, collaborative, and committed to exceptional patient care
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Ability to develop customized treatment plans for diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary teamwork
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
- Adaptability and time management in a fast-paced healthcare environment
