Roles & Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies across the facility alongside EMTs and paramedics
• Assess and triage acute occupational injuries, including lacerations, burns, crush injuries, chemical exposures, and orthopedic trauma
• Evaluate non-work-related acute events such as chest pain, near-fainting, diabetic emergencies, shortness of breath, and allergic reactions
• Make critical disposition decisions, determining whether employees can safely return to work, need on-site first aid, require urgent care referral, or need immediate hospital transport

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active California RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of emergency nursing and triage protocols
• Ability to stay calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration with emergency response teams
