Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care and assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Support patients during meals, including feeding assistance and monitoring intake
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe patient environment
• Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Treat every patient with dignity, respect, and a friendly smile

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to pass background check and health screening requirements
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach to care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Prior CNA experience is a plus, but newly certified CNAs are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques, infection control, and safety protocols
• Skill in using electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients safely
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy when interacting with patients and families
• Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
