Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement therapy interventions according to the OT plan of care
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with patient and family education to support home and community integration
- Communicate patient status and updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a secure environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain one before starting)
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills to thrive in a collaborative setting
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and interventions
- Patient care skills with empathy and professionalism
- Accurate clinical documentation abilities
- Patient education and family communication skills
- Understanding of state/federal regulations and facility guidelines
