Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal assessments
• Provide exceptional patient education on oral health and hygiene
• Assist dentists during procedures and examinations
• Take and process dental radiographs as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Ensure a clean, safe, and sterile environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia or compact eligibility
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to patient comfort
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dental team

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene best practices
• Proficiency in taking dental X-rays
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with dental charting and patient management software
• Commitment to infection control and OSHA standards
