Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist in creating beautiful smiles - from initial exams to final adjustments
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure a welcoming, sterile environment for patients
• Take high-quality dental x-rays and impressions to support accurate diagnosis
• Provide patients with clear instructions on braces care and oral hygiene
• Manage patient flow and maintain accurate records to keep the practice running smoothly
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of dental professionals who are passionate about patient care

Qualifications

• A heart for helping others and a smile that shows it
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or the ability to obtain certification
• State radiology certification or willingness to obtain it
• 1-2 years of experience in orthodontics is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication skills to connect with patients of all ages
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and materials
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (like Denticon) is a bonus
• Infection control and sterilization best practices
• Excellent organizational and patient management skills
• A proactive, positive attitude that puts patients at ease
