Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients during scheduled appointments
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventive procedures
- Educate patients on oral health best practices and maintain their comfort
- Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant to ensure seamless patient flow
- Document patient care accurately and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
- Focus on quality patient interactions with 30-minute appointment slots
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a dental team
- Commitment to infection control and patient safety standards
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and preventive care
- Strong understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
- Skilled in patient education and chair-side manner
- Ability to collaborate effectively with dentists and assistants
- Attention to detail with strong documentation practices
