Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality dental hygiene care to patients
- Perform routine cleanings, scaling, and polishing
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Assist with patient comfort and safety
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of New Jersey
- Previous dental hygiene experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification for healthcare providers
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently within 30-minute appointment slots
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
- Understanding of oral health and hygiene best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and time management
- Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records
- Ability to work effectively with a dental assistant
