Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, with precision and care
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns as needed

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Previous experience in med-surg or telemetry nursing preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing practices
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Skill in IV therapy, wound care, and patient monitoring
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong documentation and EHR (Electronic Health Record) skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
