Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, identifying changes and responding promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and accuracy
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience in med-surg or telemetry nursing a plus, but new graduates are welcome!
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices
• Ability to interpret telemetry and cardiac monitoring
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong assessment and patient care skills
• Effective teamwork and collaboration
