Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Experience in med-surg/telemetry nursing is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and telemetry monitoring
• Skill in patient assessment, medication administration, and IV therapy
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities under pressure
