Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring safety and accuracy
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous med/surg or acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs and unit demands

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing principles
• Proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) charting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
