Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis and scaling and root planing procedures
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) to aid in diagnosis
• Assess patients' oral health and document findings accurately
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as needed
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure patient comfort
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene practice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of dental anatomy and periodontology
• Proficiency in dental radiography and safety protocols
• Skilled in patient education and preventive care
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with electronic dental records (EDR) software
