Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during procedures, ensuring patients stay comfortable and informed
• Take and develop dental X-rays and impressions with precision and care
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment to keep everything ready
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care in a friendly way
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon software
• Collaborate closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional, personalized care

Qualifications

• Current orthodontic assistant certification required
• Experience with orthodontic procedures (brackets, wires, aligners)
• Proficiency in Denticon or similar dental software
• Strong communication skills and a warm, welcoming chairside manner
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Orthodontic assisting techniques and best practices
• Dental radiography and imaging skills
• Sterilization protocols and infection control
• Patient education and clear communication
• Denticon software proficiency
