Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings, exams, and patient education
• Assess patient oral health and document findings accurately
• Assist the dentist during procedures and ensure a comfortable patient experience
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a safe, clean clinical environment
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills in dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization protocols
• Understanding of oral health and preventive care best practices
• Proficiency with dental software and patient records
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate patient approach
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
