Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate preventive dental care and hygiene services to patients of all ages
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care practices
• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures with precision
• Take and process dental X-rays while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure efficient patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to strict infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in a dental office setting (new graduates welcome!)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Gentle and caring demeanor with patients

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in dental hygiene techniques and instrumentation
• Knowledge of dental imaging and radiography procedures
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Excellent patient education and chairside manner
