Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to create and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Advocate for patients' needs and ensure a safe, healing environment

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or compact state
• BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
• Med/Surg nursing experience is strongly preferred
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compassionate environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
• Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs
• Compassionate bedside manner with a team-oriented mindset
