Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to med/surg patients
• Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs, reporting changes in status
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the care team to develop and adjust care plans
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate medical records
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Prior med/surg or acute care nursing experience is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• A caring, positive attitude and a commitment to patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

• Med/surg nursing best practices and patient assessment
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Clear communication with patients, families, and team members
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
