Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality med/surg nursing care to adult patients 18 and over
• Float to surgical peds or transitional care units as needed
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes in daily practice
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Maintain professional nursing attire and a safe patient environment
• Adapt quickly to varying shift lengths and patient assignments

Qualifications

• 2+ years of med/surg or higher level of care experience
• Active Hawaii RN license by start of assignment
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
• Must be flexible with scheduling and shift assignments

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong med/surg nursing skills
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR and Pyxis
• Ability to manage wound vacs and chest tubes
• Solid understanding of adult patient care (18+)
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
